No Spam
- This forum has a no-tolerance anti-spam policy. What is spam? For purposes of this forum, spam is considered:

- Any advertisement of any sort, that has not been approved by mrsmiley.

- Any post that is not relevant to the specific category it is in. If you are posting Star Wars trivia in the Halo Babies category, it will either be moved or deleted!
- Any new topic that is created when an older topic with the same subject/purpose has already been created. (i.e. Creating a topic about a YouTube video, when there's already an active thread to post web videos.)
No Flaming
For purposes of this site, "flaming" is defined as:

Artwork Rules
Posting/Commenting on Art
- Do not steal art, you will be banned immediately. If the art is not yours, do not say it is. Also if you are going to use another person's artwork, then ask for permission. If you don’t, this is considered stealing.
- Do not flame or spam artwork. This means if you do not like some one's artwork, do not just post that it sucks or say you suck at drawing. Offer constructive criticism. Tell them what needs improvement, or what areas need work. This also goes for if the artwork is good; tell them why and what part you like rather than simply good job.
- Know that finished artwork goes in the Gallery, sketches in the Sketchbook, signatures and avatars in the Avatar/Sig Shop, and comic strips go in the Fan Strips section of the forum. Pay attention to what forum you are posting your artwork in.
**Signatures and Avatars**
- As far as signatures go, keep them to a small enough size so that they do not stretch out the page. The
max sig size is
600x125. No animated signatures, as it slows down some of other member's ability to browse the forum if they are not as lucky as some to have a high speed connection.
You are allowed one large signature and one mini signature(or two lines of text) at a time, or no large signature and two mini signatures, or no images at all and six lines of text.
- You are allowed one avatar. The maximum avatar dimensions are 150x150. The maximum avatar size is 50KB. Avatars may be animated if you choose.
All avatars and sigs are held to the standard forum rules, including our stance on offensive material like crude language and nudity. If you're avatar/sig violates one or more of these rules, it will be removed, and you will be asked to change it to something else. Repeated offenses in this area will result in a temp or permanent ban.
General Rules
- Do not post any pornographic material. Period. This is material that contains explicit sex acts.
If you have drawn an artistic piece that contains mild nudity, please post a warning in the title of your post. We will decide what is appropriate on a post-to-post basis. Play it safe; ask us ahead of time.
No links to websites advertising porn, products or in violation of personal privacy are to be permitted in Profiles, Signatures or Avatars. Immediate banning without warning will result for those failing to follow this rule.
- Do not post any ultra-violent material without a warning in the thread’s title.
- Do not post any material that contains strong language without posting a warning in the thread’s title.
- Do not ask to be a forum moderator. This position is earned and chosen. If we don’t need another mod, no one will become one. How do you catch my eye? Simply post relevant topics and replies, and don’t act like a moron! My first picks are usually those whom I have known for a while, so no offense if you get denied. However, being a mod is not as fun as it looks! Go ahead and enjoy the forum as a regular member, without and burdens on your back!
- DO NOT post any pirated material for ANY game whatsoever. Anyone who does this will be instantly perma-banned! Or for any other art form, or anything copyrighted for any reason.
Image Gallery
ALL of the above rules also apply to the Image Gallery. However, please review the following addendums:
- Your personal gallery is meant for you
artwork, not for your personal photos. You have Myspace, Facebook, etc for that!
- Feel free to post
any kind of visual art in your personal gallery! The art forums (from which I will start pulling art pieces for future features) must consist of drawn, gaming-related artwork. I want you to be free with your gallery as far as art goes. (Although I definitely prefer seeing game related stuff!)
- If a public gallery has a specific description for the types of images that are to be uploaded to it, please don't go against this, or you will lose your right to post on this forum.
Extra Notes
- New members please post in the introductions thread in the Halo Babies Central area rather then making an I'm New topic.
- If your wondering what the rank award is, it's given to a member who has abided by these rules and contributes to the community. Be good and one day you could get it.
