Please report any bugs/issues you encounter with our new Art Gallery here. I will do my best to post a list of the issues in this main area, and provide answers as I get them. Keep in mind that I am not the developer for the gallery, these guys are! So if I can't fix it on my own, I will need to consult with them. HBN-SPECIFIC BUGS LOGGED SO FAR...

1. 5/24/08 | [FIXED!] (somehow) | ISSUE: Member Gallery doesn't appear in the 'Member's Gallery' listing.
For now, use the button in posts from users with Galleries, or choose the link from their profile.

2. 5/24/08 | [REPORTED] | ISSUE: 'My Albums' and 'Manage Albums' tabs are missing.
No resolution, although this has only happened to one member, and I believe it was caused by something I did on the back end.

3. 5/24/08 | [KNOWN ISSUE] | ISSUE: If you create a sub-album without putting at least one image in your root ("Personal") Album, your sub-album will not show up when someone browses your gallery.
To resolve this, be sure to have at least one image in your Personal Gallery before adding sub-albums.

4. 5/24/08 | [WORKING ON IT] | ISSUE: "View Member Album" link from the recent/most viewed gallery is misleading, as it doesn't actually link to the member's gallery, but rather the gallery containing the image (member or not member).

5. 5/27/08 | [FIXED!] | ISSUE:When uploading an image, you get the message that it "exceeds the size limit".
If you still experience this issue, please load your image into any imaging program, and re-save it (as whatever filetype it was originally). Try to upload this image. If this fixes it, or if your original issue was not resolved by the fix I applied, please let me know by replying!!!

In the Highest Rated section, the "View Members Album" button actually takes you to the album the screenshot was uploaded to. It's a mite confusing.

hmm... rather than saying just "view album". I can change that no problem.

It's not a bug as such, but the Rating of a picture only shows the total score, not how many people voted for it. A picture with a rating of 10 would look higher than a picture with a rating of 8, even though 100 people voted on the "8" and 1 person voted on the "10".

Per the original Gallery thread, according to the developer, the rating system is getting an overhaul in the next version. Hopefully this means we'll be able to see the number of raters, because that's something I would like my self!

I notice that people can rate their own work too.

Yeah, I don't think that's a huge deal, because if someone gives themselves a 10, but it sucks, it will eventually lower from bad ratings. I'll wait for the new version of the gallery to be released to see what the "overhaul" of the scoring system has in store.

Yeah, my gallery is not viewable like you talked about in your update.

Yeah... sorry about that! The developer and I are actively working on resolving this. I would expect I fix before the weekend is up. Tonight, I'm gonna work on adding a gallery button to the bottom of each of your posts, next to the "profile, PM, email" buttons. Also, you can link to a member's gallery from their profile page, or by clicking "View Member Gallery" from an image you are viewing. So the galleries or all there, just not a link in the main art gallery page!

Yeah I completely agree. I'm gonna double check with the dev and see what's up. I know the next version of the gallery is very close to being released, so hopefully it gets fixed in that.
