this happened before,my friend was playing the snow stage and he was in the warthog and he went on a rock ramp and got stuck beteewn two trees and when he was stuck and couldn't get out,a marine shouted "fire in the hole" and blew us up and killed us for no good reason,funny huh? hunterkilla was right, who needs marines,just shoot them and get their ammo, ya copy?!

grenades and roketlounchers are evil!!!!!!! the warthog it took the whole warthog!!!!!!!!! i was going to the warthog near the cliff and then boom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!it fell off and i died and hit a marine and blew him up by accident cause i therw a grenade!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!aaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This happens quite often at the beginning of Silent Cartographer. The spot with the rocks and a couple elites. One times i got hit by two grenades at once. You should've heard the elites laugh.

i was playing level 4 silent cartographer i got off the dropship i rushed the elite and before i knew it a marine had thrown a frag beside at that point the only thing i was thinking was WTF!

I've seen humans do this. It's really, as they put it, 'a kick in the pants', or something. At least it seems funny, until it happens to you. I managed to tear off my helmet in time, but my best grunt Gagaw didn't.

Have you ever been with an insane marine who keeps running you over for no reason? My Dad tried running over the ghost with his own to save me... but I just get run over by him as well.

Marines usually dont do that to me that often.Probably because i dont kill them for ammo like most ppl do. I never kill anyone in my squad, even if their frag grenade is a tad bit of course.

When my friend and I play Halo co-op he becomes the official marine killer. I go to fight a covie and the next thing i know half of the marines are dead! He uses stupid excuses like :"I needed more ammo, i was running out" or "oops! He was in my way!" or even "Dude, I can't help it. I have an urge...". It makes me sick!!!!

I was just playing Halo and on Truth and Reconciliation a grunt threw a grenade onto a marine in front of me and OMFG he came at me and blew up taking me with him. What woz worse is that it woz over a pile of plasma grenades and every marine died. Did i have pity on them. NOOO I DIDN'T.

Heh heh! That has never happened to me :P. The problem with Marines, in my opinion is that they are stupid, yes, but stupid in that in stead of firing and manouvering, they stand and shoot and die. Me, I'm smart, I stay with the group and wait till they're all mowed down before I venture to the front. You gotta use your head if you don't wanna get dead.

You're all wrong, marines are great for single player. (unless you're not playing legendary.) Great distractions so you can shoot those rushing elites yourself.

yah it is really annoying when the marines hit me with a ghost, but the solution is that before the marine gets in the ghost, throw agrenade on the ghost so it will blow and flip the ghost.

i hate marines, plain and simple, but i let them live.... i mean, of you were actually out there would you shoot them? i think not, they are your teammates for the mission and you need as little casualties as possible. Of course i accidentally run over them every now and then and take their ammo, but other than that i let them live.

i hate the marines i let them live for a while and then on the 5th level aotcr i drive by them to get them to jump off the cliff for amusement since they tend to shoot me with sniper

I hate those pesky marines. They always throw grenades right in front of you and then BOOM youre dead. One time a marine did that and i got so mad i killed all the marines and took their ammo. I usually kill the marines for the ammo anyway but never kill more than 3...

i once played co-op in AotCR. i was run over by a marine in a Ghost. I respawned RIGHT next to my partner who was coincidentally in the way of a certain marine in a ghost... SQUISH!!!

That only happened tome once on Xbox,however, n Halo PC That happens to me all the time! Marines are useful when you are in vechiles and They are actually pretty good on 343 GS. I never kill my marines on purpose, except for this one time when I was trying to do a warthog jump.

one time, i accidentally rolled over 3 ODST's at once, and the marines were blastin' my until i blew 'em up w/ the scorpion's main gun.

so, the bullets are those odd sucker arrow thingies, and grenades are...

Y'know,everybody in their previous comments are completley right. The marines are more of a threat to me on easy than the Flood, Covies and Sentinals on Legendary combined! "Grenade!" OMFG how can you people live with yourselves? the say such cool and heartless stuff. besides, marine snipers are great. and when was the last time you killed the shotgun marines on 343 guilty spark? probably never, because they're so damn good! Marines are good shots, witty, and in halo 2, indenspible!!! you all complain WAAA! A MARINE KILLED ME! probably because you all play on easy so you can run up to the enemy and melee them to death and get blown up by a well placed grenade.

Speaking of friendly fire,
I was playing halo 2 once and i threw a plasma grenade at a Grunt and he started running around and came quite close to one of his Elite team-mates,but the Elite didn't want to die so he shot the grunt,so I killed him for betraying his team,not that I do it or anything!
